I’m Jordan DeOcampo, an animation student at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Growing up in the culturally diverse and socially complex hub that is the NYC/Jersey City area, I'm most passionate about giving a voice to the everyday characters of my neighborhood through storytelling. Many of my courses at SVA have sharpened my creative processes through meeting my own ideas with the alternate perspectives and diverse voices of my teachers and classmates. This collaborative community of creatives, all with different ways of thinking and passions, is the type of environment that I aspire to engage in within the industry.

When my head is not buried behind my Cintiq, you may find me tending to my lovely ranchu goldfish, feverishly trying to keep my ukulele (and banjolele) in tune, or people watching at any of my frequently visited local cafes.
